Body scrubs offer a variety of benefits, including:
- Gentle exfoliation (the amount of exfoliation can be increased with a larger-grained scrub)
- Brighter skin
- Glowing complexion
- Reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines (Due to dull, dead skin being removed and the added moisture benefits to newly exposed skin)
- Smooth, moisturized skin
- Fading of stretch marks (in certain scrubs, with use over time)
- Reducing the amount of cellulite (especially in coffee scrubs, thanks to the caffeine)
- A closer shave
Often, these scrumptious concoctions are made with salts or sugar to create a coarse texture that sloughs away dead skin cells and exposes a fresh layer of skin, making your skin appear brighter, more even, and more smooth. A lot of them are also made with oils that soothe and moisturize your skin after the exfoliation process, keeping your fresh skin looking glowing and healthy.
Bonus: Most of these can be used on the face as well! This list primarily consists of body scrubs, but most of them can be used on your face as well! Some can even be used on your lips, making your pout smooth and kissable. This will be indicated in each item description.
